GOMOJO PROUDLY PRESENTS: - HARK! 2010 - GET YOUR FREE TRACK TODAY!
I'm very pleased to tell you that the debut album HARK! from has been released in a new high quality download edition incl. two exclusive bonus tracks from GoMojo Basement. The follow up Smiling Worlds Apart has been available from GoMojo for a while, both as a CD and download. The two bonus tracks, which are not available elsewhere, are The World Goes Round and It's Alright (featuring an arrangement from Dave Gregory of XTC), both of which were recorded around the same time as HARK! is the alter ego of Steve Somerset, who writes everything, plays all the instruments and sings too! As if the novelty factor of this wasn't enough, just wait until you listen to the music. Guitar pop, English psychedelia, whatever you want to call it, both HARK! and Smiling Worlds Apart are quite simply extraordinary collections of tunes that you'll struggle to get out of your head. Smiling Worlds Apart has received only 5-star reviews on Amazon and one reviewer said "Like its predecessor, this sounds like a 'greatest hits' record more than a 'latest release' - not a weak song". The new release of HARK! coincides with the launch of the new Shadow Kabinet mailing list. Join now and you can sample the delights of HARK! absolutely free! Simply join the mailing list and you will receive a free download of the track Cause For Concern from HARK! Visit 's profile and navigate to Mailing List and Shop. Click below:

Note about downloads from GoMojo Basement: available in two formats, AAC and Ogg Vorbis, There are instructions on the site, but if you're still unsure then go for AAC - it's the same format used by iTunes, except that our tracks use less compression, so less of the original recording is lost.

COMING SOON TO GOMOJO BASEMENT...
...the first new album for 10 years from a much loved band that essentially created their own genre, but can broadly be described as alternative/noir/folk/rock and has often drawn comparisons to . Working with the band on setting up the shop at the moment. More will be revealed in a separate newsletter. Stay tuned.

FOREVER BURNING MAILING LIST AND SINGLE LAUNCH FROM
Another new mailing list has been launched through GoMojo. This time it's for Forever Burning, the site at http://www.mirandasexgarden.com, which has alternated between being the official MSG site and a fan site over the years. Because of the various projects that members of have been involved with, and new stuff happening regularly, it made sense to revive the mailing list. As an example of what this mailing list would inform you about: (ex-MSG) is launching a new single "This is what I wanted to give you" at the Shortwave Independent Cinema, 10 Bermondsey Square, London SE1 3UN on Tuesday 27th July at 7pm. Come and join if you can! Read more and join the mailing list. Click below:
