It's 2009 and we're officially in a recession here in the UK. We've eaten too much, spent too much money, given up on New Year's resolutions and the weather sucks. Luckily we can still have some fun on-line for free (except for that broadband bill). It's not so much fun when things don't work though, which is why I have just spent the best part of this weekend killing various bugs that were crawling around the fine virtual establishment that we call GoMojo. Sorry about the downtime, but it had to be done. You should find that among other improvements, the profile comments feature now works properly again. Get in touch if you have any issues.
Thanks to those who have already bought standard and autographed copies of the album Midnight Flower from Katharine Blake through GoMojo Basement. Also now in the basement, you'll find the solo album A Universe Between Us from Nick Marsh, front man of Flesh For Lulu. A Universe Between Us is one of the most unjustly overlooked albums of the last decade. The difference between Marsh and younger, less experienced artists, who have recently tried their hands and vocal chords at Sinatra-esque story telling, is that in Marsh's case, you actually believe what the man is singing! At a recession friendly £9.99 for the album or £11.99 for an autographed copy, you really should check it out.
Finally also a happy Chinese New Year to all and especially to Eric, the only registered GoMojo user based in China. Gong Hei Fat Choi!
Love,
Casper
