I am pleased to announce that a range of brand new and exciting features have arrived at GoMojo central. Here's a list of the most important ones:  
 
* The GoMojo Basement store has been launched. GoMojo Basement is a place where you can purchase music directly from top independent artists. The first album on offer is the fabulous Midnight Flower from Katharine Blake (Mediaeval Baebes, Miranda Sex Garden). More will follow soon. All payments are processed securely by PayPal and you do not need an account, simply pay with your credit or debit card. Hit the Shop link in the top navigation bar now!  
 
* Along with YouTube videos you now also get thumbnails of the latest photos posted on Flickr on the band/club/festival Info pages  
 
* If the above does not satisfy your craving for visuals then the new Visuals Copilot definitely will. Launch it from the left navigation panel when browsing Music or from the link on every Info page. Use it to search Yahoo UK/US, YouTube, Google, MySpace and Flickr for photos and videos. Take total control of your search terms, sorting order and how result pages are displayed. Save your favourite configuration in your profile. It's a small application of its own, yet controlled by the great GoMojo mothership! Try it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean  
 
* Improved People search interface (Eyes) and improved HQ page with more shortcuts  
 
* Global/local gig search: define your local area/city and choose for each of your favourite artists if you want to be alerted about gigs in your area/city only (New Gigs list on your HQ page). For example you might like The Ting Tings, but you're only interested in going to gigs in your area. On the other hand you might like to know whenever Depeche Mode play anywhere in the UK, because you're willing to travel to see them. By default all favourite artists on existing user accounts have been set to global search, but you can change this by navigating to Faves (left navigation panel) under Home (top navigation panel). Your local area can be defined under Settings. For existing user accounts, the local area has been set to London for UK accounts and New York for US accounts
